Shanghai, China – From October 13 to October 15, MicroPort Endovascular (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. ("MicroPort? Endovascular") attended the ENDOVASCOLOGY 2016 in Shanghai and hosted a satellite meeting for academic exchange on endovascular aortic repair ("EVAR"). Endovascular hosted a satellite meeting "Development of EVAR Techniques: From 'UNIBODY ' to 'LOW PROFILE'," chaired by Professor Zhiqing Zhao of Changhai Hospital of the Second Military Medical University and Professor Jianhua Huang of Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, exchanging ideas with attended experts on the experience in clinical application of Aegis? Professor Zhiqi Lin of Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University shared his experience in using Aegis? to treat abdominal aortic dissection. Professor Wei Li of People's Hospital of Peking University introduced the main features of Hercules? Stent-Graft with Low Profile Delivery System, as well as its application in some special cases. Professor Wei Wang of Xiangya Hospital of Central South University lectured on the selection of stent grafts in complex thoracic aortic diseases, highlighting the significance of low profile sheath and soft inner tube of the Hercules?. In the end, the speakers and experts of the presidium of the congress had hot discussions on the indications and surgical skills of AAA stent graft with uni-body structure, as well as the clinical significance of Low Profile delivery sheath, which stimulated active interaction with the audience.
